Our office is generally open between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Thursday. We are generally closed on Fridays. However, availability will vary by counselor and by day. It is recommended to call before making a trip to the office. To schedule an appointment please contact us at (515) 233 -1699. Appointments are generally flexible and we strive to get individuals in as soon as possible. Appointment frequency will depend on the needs and availability of the client(s) and availability of the counselor. If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call as soon as possible.
Many of our services are covered by private insurance and Medicaid. Prior to your first appointment, please call the number listed on the back of your insurance card to verify that CCS is a covered provider as well as your specific insurance plan benefits and limitations, deductibles, and co-pays. Private pay is also an option.
The first appointment typically includes an intake process. Please arrive 30 minutes early to your first appointment in order to fill out intake paperwork. This will allow more time for the actual session with your counselor/therapist. If you arrive late and still have to fill out paperwork, you may be asked to reschedule. In order to save time at your first appointment, you may print out the forms listed on the Client Forms page, fill them out, and bring with you to your first session. Your counselor can help you with any questions about the paperwork during your appointment.
